6 croissants or 1 can crescent roll dough
6 slices smoked turkey
6 slices cheese (Swiss, cheddar, provolone, etc.)
1 –2 tsp Dijon mustard or aioli (optional)
1 tbsp melted butter or egg wash
Optional add-ins: spinach, tomato slices, caramelized onion
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
If using crescent roll dough, unroll it carefully; if using pre-made croissants, slice them lengthwise.
Layer one slice of smoked turkey and one slice of cheese on each croissant half. Add Dijon mustard or aioli if desired.
Assemble each sandwich by placing the top half over the fillings and placing them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Brush the tops with melted butter or egg wash.
Bake for about 13–16 minutes until golden brown; if using pre-baked croissants, bake for 8–10 minutes.
Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving warm.
