  • 13.8 ounces refrigerated pizza dough
  • 3 black olives
  • 1 piece of red bell pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil (for brushing)
  • 2 teaspoons poppy seeds
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cut black olives into small pieces for eyes and slice the red bell pepper for tongues.
  3. Unroll the pizza dough on a clean surface and cut into 12 strips. Roll each strip into a 12-inch rope.
  4. Shape each rope by tapering one end for the tail and flattening the other for the head.
  5. Wrap each snake around greased chopsticks or metal straws, brush with olive oil, and sprinkle with poppy and sesame seeds.
  6. Add olive pieces as eyes on each snake's head.
  7. Bake on parchment-lined sheets for 11-15 minutes until golden brown. Cool briefly before removing from chopsticks.
  8. Insert red pepper pieces into the flat ends as tongues while still warm.
