  • 3 garlic cloves, smashed
  • 1/4 cup light soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon cooking oil

Instructions

  1. Marinate the chicken: In a mixing bowl, combine chicken with cornstarch, soy sauce, sesame oil, sugar (or honey), and optional vinegar. Let marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Heat the wok or pan: Add cooking oil and heat on medium-high.
  3. Cook the chicken: Add garlic and marinated chicken to the pan. Stir fry for about 2 minutes until no longer translucent. Remove from heat.
  4. Stir fry zucchini: Add more oil if needed and stir fry zucchini slices for about 5 minutes until tender.
  5. Combine everything: Return chicken to the pan with zucchini, add oyster sauce, and stir well for another 2-3 minutes until heated through.
  6. Serve hot over rice or noodles.
