  • 1/2 cup cold water
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, and salt. Add cold cubed butter and mix until crumbly.
  2. Stir in cold water and vanilla extract until a dough forms. Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  3. Roll out the chilled dough into a rectangle on a floured surface. Fold into thirds, roll out again, and repeat this folding process two more times.
  4. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Cut the rolled dough into triangles, place chocolate chips at the base of each triangle, and roll up from base to tip.
  5. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown.
