  • 2 tsps freshly-squeezed lemon juice
  • 6 Tbsps COLD unsalted butter, cut into pieces
  • 6 (15 oz.) cans organic peach slices, drained well
  • 1 cup organic cane sugar
  • 1/2 cup organic brown sugar
  • 3 Tbsps cornstarch + 6 Tbsps WARM water
  • 1 1/2 tsps My Dessert Lover Blend
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 Tbsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp freshly-squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 1/2 cups organic all-purpose flour
  • 2 Tbsps organic cane sugar
  • Pinch of ground cinnamon, optional
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, COLD + cubed
  • 1/41/3 cup COLD almond milk
  • 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1 Tbsp almond milk, unsweetened

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking dish.
  2. In a bowl, combine drained peach slices, sugars, cornstarch mixed with warm water, spices, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt; cut in cold butter until crumbly.
  4. Whisk together almond milk and lemon juice; add to dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
  5. Layer half of the batter in the dish, followed by half of the peach filling; repeat the layers.
  6. Bake for approximately 55 minutes until golden brown and bubbly. Let cool slightly before serving.
