Instructions

  2. Add the egg and vanilla extract; mix on low speed until combined.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to the wet mixture and fold until just combined.
  4. Gently incorporate chocolate chips or your choice of mix-ins.
  5. (Optional) Chill the dough for 30 minutes for a firmer texture before baking.
