  • 3 ripe mangos (2 lbs total, cubed)
  • 1/2 cup chilled evaporated milk
  • 3 tablespoons condensed milk (to taste)
  • 1 cup full-fat coconut milk
  • Optional: 1 cup coconut jelly, 1 cup mango jelly

Instructions

  1. Cook the sago in boiling water for about 15 minutes until transparent; then let it sit covered for another 15 minutes.
  2. Strain and rinse the cooked sago under cold water to prevent sticking.
  3. Blend one diced mango with evaporated milk until smooth.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked sago, remaining mango cubes, optional jellies, condensed milk, and coconut milk. Mix well and add the blended mango mixture.
  5. Chill for at least one hour before serving in individual cups.
