  • 1 packet taco seasoning (or homemade mix)
  • Salt & pepper, to taste
  • 1 cup lettuce, shredded
  • ½ cup diced tomatoes
  • ½ cup red onion, diced
  • ¼ cup fresh cilantro, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, heat olive oil and sauté diced onion and minced garlic until fragrant.
  3. Add ground beef (or turkey/chicken) and cook until browned.
  4. Stir in taco seasoning and tomato sauce; simmer for about 5 minutes.
  5. Fill each taco shell with the meat mixture and sprinkle cheese on top.
