  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 7.5 oz chive & onion cream cheese spread
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 8 oz sharp cheddar cheese (freshly grated, divided)
  • 1 stem from a bell pepper (for decoration)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, beat together softened cream cheese, chive & onion spread, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and 1 ¼ cups of shredded sharp cheddar until well combined.
  2. Lay out cling wrap on your counter, ensuring it's long enough to wrap around the cheese ball.
  3. On the cling wrap, sprinkle ⅓ cup of shredded cheddar where the bottom of the cheese ball will be.
  4. Scoop the mixed cheese onto the cheddar and cover with remaining cheddar to encase completely.
  5. Wrap tightly in cling wrap and shape into a ball; use rubber bands to form a pumpkin shape.
  6. Chill in the refrigerator for at least two hours before serving.
  7. Decorate with a bell pepper stem and serve with crackers or veggies.
