  • 1 cup Canned Pumpkin Puree
  • 1/2 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1/4 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon Nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon Ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon Ground Cloves
  • 1 beaten Egg (for brushing)
  • Powdered Sugar (optional topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface if not already rolled, and cut it into rectangles about 3 inches wide.
  3. In a bowl, mix the canned pumpkin puree, granulated sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and ground cloves until smooth.
  4. Place a spoonful of filling on one end of each pastry rectangle, fold over the other side, and press down gently to seal. Twist each pastry strip to create a spiral effect.
  5. Brush each twist with beaten egg for a golden finish.
  6. Arrange on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for about 20 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Allow to cool slightly before dusting with powdered sugar if desired.
