  • 1 pack Hawaiian rolls (12 count)
  • 8 slices turkey bacon
  • 2 cups barbecue sauce (divided)
  • 1/3 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup ranch dressing
  • 2 cups shredded lettuce
  • 1/4 red onion (sliced)
  • 12 squares Colby jack cheese

Instructions

  1. Marinate the chicken in a zip-top bag or bowl with 1 cup of barbecue sauce for at least 30 minutes (up to overnight).
  2. Cook turkey bacon in a skillet over low heat until crispy; set aside on paper towels.
  3. Grill marinated chicken over medium heat for about 3 minutes per side, brushing with an additional ½ cup of barbecue sauce until cooked through (internal temp of 165°F).
  4. Slice Hawaiian rolls horizontally and spread mayonnaise on the bottom buns.
  5. Layer each bun with grilled chicken, additional barbecue sauce, cheese slices, turkey bacon, red onions, shredded lettuce, and ranch dressing before placing the top buns on.
  6. Slice into individual sliders and serve immediately.
